Now, we all want to feel the safest we possibly can in our homes and workplaces, while not having to give up the luxury of seeing through our windows and doors (no solid steel apocalypse doors or prison bars on my windows for me, thanks!)
Well, we have the perfect products for that, whether you're looking to protect against home invasion, or even against a bomb blast, we can help you. And the best part is, all of our films in this range are completely clear! Let's go through our Safety & Security range, and see what we can find that works best for you.
ARC CL4: "Anti-Shatter"
Safety Window Films are designed to increase the integrity and shatter resistance of glass. They can be used to make glazing safer, or to comply with building regulations such as EN12600. They work perfectly for home protection, and protection of glazing in buildings such as schools or council buildings where accidental breakage is likely. They work by holding the glass in place just in case of a breakage, allowing for easier replacement, and drastically reducing the chance of injury to those around the glass if it breaks.
ARC CL7: "Security"
Security Window Films are designed to increase the integrity and security of the glass. They increase the difficulty of forced entry by holding the glass together during attempted break-ins, and brings the glass it's applied to up to a EN12600 - 2B2 Standard. This range is perfect for offices and homes alike, who are looking for high end protection but don't need the extra thickness & security of the CL8 window film.
ARC CL8: "Bomb Blast"
200+ Micron Films can be used for blast mitigation, however it is recommended you speak to one of our advisers if you intend us use the product for this purpose, as there may be special systems (our edge retention system) that needs to be put in place for the film to work to its full potential. Without the edge retention system, this window brings the glass it's applied to up to a EN356 - P1A Standard, the highest GSA Standard, whereas with the edge retention system, this window film brings the glass it's applied to up to an ISO16933 Standard.
So there you go! Now you've got a little bit more information on what we can do with our safety films, get on over to our website and pick the best one for your needs! We look forward to hearing from you!
